Spring is here—and so are fresh new features to level up your promotion and loyalty campaigns.
These updates make managing your incentives easier and more effective. From smarter gamification to easier point rollbacks, we're highlighting the most impactful new features that will give you better results with less effort. Let’s dive in.
Customers love gamification—where every action feels like progress and every milestone brings a reward. We’ve just rolled out two exciting milestone features to enhance your gamification strategy: One-time and recurring achievements. These features make it easy to drive ongoing engagement, just like leveling up in a game. With these new additions, you can:
Tie rewards to one-time challenges, like downloading your app
Combine multiple tasks into weekly or monthly challenges
Launch recurring challenges that reset within a certain period
By giving customers clear goals and incentives, you turn routine transactions into a more engaging and rewarding experience—boosting retention and brand loyalty in the process.

Loyalty programs often reward customers for reaching higher tiers, but what happens when a customer no longer meets the criteria?
Previously in Talon. One, tier downgrades followed a scheduled process, which could delay necessary adjustments. Now, with the immediate downgrade option, you can instantly move customers to a lower tier when needed—ensuring your program stays fair and up to date. Whether it's adjusting tiers based on real-time behavior or enforcing stricter eligibility criteria, this flexibility puts you in full control.

Loyalty programs should reflect real customer behavior—but until now, adjusting already activated points for returns, cancellations, or order changes hasn’t been easy. If a customer didn’t have enough pending points, you were left with imbalances or had to rely on manual fixes.
Now, with loyalty point rollback, you can deduct points from a customer’s active balance when there aren’t enough pending points available. This ensures that loyalty balances stay accurate and fair, preventing inflated rewards due to returns or cancellations. Whether it’s handling partial refunds, order modifications, or session changes, this feature keeps your program transparent and hassle-free.

Managing user roles across different platforms can be a headache, especially in large organizations. Assigning and updating permissions manually takes time and increases the risk of inconsistencies, particularly when employees join, switch roles, or leave.
Now, with role syncing from identity providers like Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, you can automate user management in Talon.One. Roles are assigned and updated directly through your identity provider, ensuring seamless onboarding and quick adjustments when organizational changes happen. This streamlines access control, reduces administrative work, and enhances security across your team.
These updates make your loyalty and promotions campaigns smarter and more rewarding—both for you and your customers.
